# About us and our editorial policy

DeschideCompanie.md is the service through which we register companies in the Republic of Moldova, for founders based in the country and abroad. This page says who publishes the site, who writes the articles and the rules we write them by.

The site and the blog are published by the company below, which also provides the registration services described on the site. Articles are signed by the editorial team, not by individual authors.

## The editorial team

The articles are written by the people who handle company registrations every day: they draft the incorporation documents, choose the CAEM codes, file with the Public Services Agency and accompany clients when they open a bank account.

We write about legal forms, taxes, licences and permits, banks, and the decisions of Parliament and the Government that change something for anyone opening or running a company in Moldova.

## Editorial policy

We work from primary sources: the Official Gazette (Monitorul Oficial), the legis.md database, ministry and agency websites and, for draft legislation, particip.gov.md. The press tells us that something changed; the figure and the deadline come from the document itself.

A draft law stays a draft until it is adopted. The article says which stage it has reached — public consultation, approved by the Government, passed by Parliament, in force from a given date — and we update the text when the stage changes.

Figures are valid on the publication or last-update date shown under each article’s title. We do not publish paid articles and are not paid to mention a bank, an institution or a supplier.

## Corrections

If you find a mistake, write to us at the address below with the link to the article and, if you can, the correct source. We check every report.

When we correct an article, the update date appears under its title. If the mistake changed the meaning of a fact — a rate, a deadline, a condition — the article says what we corrected.
